LASER Medium Voltage Covered Conductors are Safe and Economical Solution for HT overhead conductors. Covered conductors consist of a conductor insulated by a covering made of insulating material(s) as protection against accidental contacts with other covered conductors and with grounded parts such as tree branches etc. In comparison with MV Power Cables, this conductor has reduced the thickness of Insulation.
Laser medium voltage overhead covered conductor 11 kV to 33 kV, comprises of Aluminum Alloy/ ACSR Conductor, longitudinally water tightening by filling / extruded compound, Conductor screened with extruded Semi-conducting compound & XLPE Insulation adapting Triple Head Dry Cure CCV process. The insulation layer comprises XLPE & outer layer with UV Resistant, non-tracking and erosion Resistant XLPE compound and it is manufactured as per EN 50397-1 Standard.
